The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations has been filled with diving saves, headers, drama, and even fans getting a bit over involved. But all things must come to an end.

With qualification, group stage and the knockout stage complete, just two teams are left competing for Africa's Holy Grail of soccer championships, the African Cup of Nations: Ivory Coast and Ghana. The two countries will go head to head for the exclusive title.

The FIFA World Cup is of course the biggest soccer tournament in the world, but each continent (no, not Antarctica) has their own competition set up by their own confederation. For example, South America belongs to CONMEBOL, which plays the Copa America tournament every few years, including this year. The United States of America belongs to CONCACAF, which plays the Gold Cup every two years. CAF is the governing soccer body of Africa.

Egypt has won the most African Cup titles ever with seven.

This year's Africa Cup of Nations was initially supposed to be held in Morocco. However, the terrible Ebola virus struck the area, and Equatorial Guinea was later ruled as the host nation.

Ivory Coast began their quest by winning Group D with a 1-2-0 record, giving them five points. Ivory Coast won Group D over Guinea, Mali and Cameroon. Guinea also qualified for the knockout stage from Group D. The last time we saw Ivory Coast win this tournament was in 1992. Since then, Ivory Coast has come up short twice, losing in the finals to Zambia in 2012 and Egypt in 2006.

In the quarterfinals knockout stage, Ivory Coast would defeat Algeria, 3-1. Striker Wilfried Bony scored the first two goals of the game, and Gervinho added the third goal in extra time. In the semifinals, Ivory Coast beat the Democratic Republic of the Congo, 3-1. Gervinho scored once again as did Wilfried Kanon and Yaya Touré.

Facing them in the finals will be Ghana. Ghana won Group C narrowly over Algeria. The two teams finished tied with six points, but Ghana defeated Algeria in a group stage game, 1-0. Goalkeeper Brimah Razak has been fantastic in this tournament. Maybe it's his lucky Spiderman action figure.

Ghana beat Guinea in their first knockout stage game, 3-0 thanks to three goals from Christian Atsu and Kwesi Appiah. In the semifinals Ghana continued their dominance by defeating the host nation Equatorial Guinea, 3-0. Once again, goalkeeper Razak earned another shutout. Ghana has not allowed a single goal this knockout stage. The last goal Razak allowed was to South Africa in a 2-1 victory.

Ghana has the second most African Cup titles ever with four. Unfortunately they haven't been able to win one since 1982 when they beat Lyba. In 2010, Ghana lost to Egypt in the finals.

Schedule, Where to Watch

Ivory Coast and Ghana will play each other on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. EST at the Estadio de Bata. The third place game will be played between Equatorial Guinea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Saturday at 11 a.m. EST.
