Mortal Kombat X Trailer, Gameplay & Release Date News: Gamer Reportedly Releases List of Achievements Characters Can Earn [Video]
A "veteran" forum poster on GameFAQs discovered a big list of achievements players can strive for in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X.
Gothic7980 on GameFAQs published the list of achievements that players can earn by completing tasks and winning battles in Mortal Kombat X.
Of the achievements the gamer found include Civil War (20G)-Complete Story Mode 50%. Only halfway beating the story mode portion of the game will get you 20G. Complete the whole game and get 20 more and an achievement called The Future Looks Grim.
With Mortal Kombat X focusing on factions, you will be rewarded by contributing to your faction. These four achievements will be earned if you perform well in your faction.
- Part of a Team (10G)-Contribute 10,000 overall points towards your faction
- Team Leader (20G)-Contribute 100,000 overall points towards your faction
- Challenge Accepted (10G)-Complete 100 Faction Challenges
- We Are the Champions (10G)-Win 5 Faction Wars in a row
When you are fighting in Mortal Kombat X, sometimes it is just button-mashing. That is why you can be rewarded with the Fists of Fury! achievement (20G) for performing a 15-hit combo with any fighter
Online matches will be big in Mortal Kombat X. If you perform well online, you can receive these achievements.
- The Chosen One (60G) - Win 15 Ranked Online Matches in a row
- In It to Win It (20G) - Win 100 complete Online Matches
- Seasoned Veteran (80G) - Play 200 complete Online Matches
- Nothing Special About Me (20G) - Win an online match without using any Special Moves
Kombat Master looks like the hardest achievement to gain. It will require a ton of time to get all the fighters to mastery levels. You will be rewarded 50G for completing it.
In addition, Gothic7980 says there will be six additional secret achievements.
"Mortal Kombat X" will be released April 14.
What do you think of this list? Is it the real deal?
