Bobbi Kristina Hospitalized: Source Claims Bobby Brown's Daughter Will Go Off Life Support on Anniversary of Mother Whitney Houston's Death
The family of the still comatose Bobbi Kristina Brown is planning to remove her from life support on Wednesday, the third anniversary of the death of her superstar mother Whitney Houston.
According to the New York Post, the family painfully made the decision after accepting the reported fact doctors at Emory Hospital feel there is no way she will ever recover. The 21-year-old only child of Houston and singer Bobby Brown was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub full of water at her Rosewell home 10 days ago.
A source added Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston's gospel star mother, was in favor of pulling the girl off life support on the anniversary of her daughter's death as a way to "bond mother and daughter for eternity." Ultimately, the choice was made by both sides of the family.
"This is the only thing they can agree on -- that she's gone [brain dead], and there's nothing more than can be done for her," the source said and added Whitney Houston's longtime friend Tyler Perry was instrumental in helping the bickering families come together.
Meanwhile, TMZ reports authorities continue to conduct a criminal investigation of the developments leading to Brown's lifeless body being discovered by Nick Gordon, the man she often publicly claimed to have recently married.
According to TMZ, Gordon has a history of domestic abuse and a search of the home found drugs to be present. Several media outlets have also reported when she was found, Bobbi Kristina had several injuries to her face, including at least one to her mouth.
Whitney Houston was pronounced dead on Feb. 11, 2012, after after being found unconscious in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel. Authorities later found drugs were in her body at the time of her death.
