Verizon Wireless will not take part in the rollover data plans now offered by T-Mobile and AT&T. They have reduced their prices on data a little though.

Most data plans from Verizon will be reduced by $10 a month. The company is also realizing some of their users like to use a ton of data every month. That is why they are adding a 12 GB, a 14 GB and a 16 GB plan to their offerings.

Currently, Verizon is offering a system where customers can call in and have their data upped a little bit. If a customer is on any of the plans offering between 1 and 4 GB of data, they can call in and get more data without any price increases or they can keep the same amount of data they have and get their bill dropped by $10 per month, NBC Montana reports.

The rollover data plans are attractive for some users. With streaming music, streaming video and data-intensive apps, more data is required to operate smartphones these days. T-Mobile was the first to introduced a rollover plan on data, allowing data to be carried over for up to 12 months. AT&T quickly took notice and created a rollover data plan of their own, but only allowed 1 month of data to be rolled over.

Verizon will not follow suit on offering rollover data. The company insists that the price paid by customers is for the best coverage in the country.

Sprint has been offering a $60 unlimited plan for quite sometime. The plan comes with unlimited minutes, texts and data. After reaching about 5 GB of data usage in a month they will slow customers down, but the price cannot be beat. Additionally, according to Sprint's website, if customers choose an iPhone 6, their price is only $50 per month.

Sprint has been desperate for customers lately. They have been offering to cut customers' bills in half if they switch from AT&T or Verizon. Sprint's coverage has been mocked by T-Mobile's CEO John Legere, but it seems to be getting better, according to BGR.

Customers, despite the premium in price, are still preferring Verizon as their carrier. Right behind them is AT&T.
