Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are back to "secretly hooking up" and could well be on their way to a full-fledged reconciliation.

HollywoodLife.com reports as part of his plan to win back his wife, Odom has been showering her with "thoughtful gifts, beautiful flowers and romantic handmade love notes."

The website adds Odom recently went to see a nutritionist at Kardashian's request and is totally zeroed in on remaining sober and healthy.

Odom looked "completely coherent and put together" when he recently visited the physician a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"It was definitely not the Lamar of the past. He looked like he was doing extremely well," the source said."

The website also reports a source close to Kardashian adds that "she's falling back in love with him. Little by little, Lamar's working his way back into her life. They've spent many nights together in the past couple of months. Their secret meetings have taken place at Calabasas' Hilton Garden Inn to avoid suspicion."

Kardashian filed for divorce from her one-time NBA husband in December of 2013, citing irreconcilable differences. She also filed formal court documents to have her name legally changed back to Kardashian. Since the split, Kardashian has been romantically linked to rapper French Montana.

At the time of her actions, TMZ reported 35-year-old Odom was mired in a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol that played a huge role in him no longer being in the NBA.

"Lamar is so sorry for everything and is begging Khloe to take him back," added the source close to Kardashian. "He's been sober for six months and is determined to prove that he's a changed man."

In all, Odom played 14 NBA seasons, seven of them with the L.A. Lakers, where he won two titles and was named Sixth Man of the Year in 2011. Odom averaged 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists over his career.
