Chefs in Mexico broke the world record for the longest uninterrupted line of tacos.

The taco line, almost 10,000 feet long, was given to the public, BBC News reports.

The country also broke the world record of the largest flour taco back in 2003, according to the Guinness World Records. Mexico made a taco that weighed 1,654 pounds and measured 35.9 feet long and 33.8 inches wide. Cooks had to use eight grills to cook the meat, and about 80 people helped make the world's largest taco in 2003 within about six hours.

GQR reported that Don Fileteo provided the meat, Tortilleria La Nortena provided the dough for the tortilla, Tortimaq designed the oven the taco was cooked on, Clasifruit Cardona's provided the vegetables, Flor de Baja provided guacomole sauce and the marketing was done by Ideas que Venden.

Aside from food, last year, a Mexico City man collected the largest amount of "Harry Potter" paraphernalia, according The Guardian. Menahem Asher Silva Vargas has spent nearly 15 years collecting items of the popular J.K. Rowling fantasy series. Silva Vargas' materials fill two rooms with books, magic wands, toy figurines, Quidditch brooms, scarves and more which made up the collection 3,097 items.

The collector said he never intended to collect so much "Harry Potter" materials but since he started, it was like he was "under a spell" to continue.

"My salary, my bonuses ... it all ended up here," Silva Vargas said.

Mexico also had a mass wedding with 1,609 couples recently. Mexico City's largest plaza was filled with a total of 1,609 couples as several different bands played music for the civil ceremony.

Mayor Miguel Angel Mancera presided over the mass ceremony, urging couples to respect each other.

"May each and every one of the couples here enjoy eternal love," Mancera said as he congratulated the newlyweds.

All wedding fees were waved for Valentine's Day by Mexico City's government.
