Following rumors that Silvia Navarro was pregnant, the actress has chosen to admit that the gossip is true.

It first started when TV Notas assured she was expecting, and in an interview with TV Azteca's "Ventaneando," the "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" actress explained why she decided to open up.

"Yes, yes [I am pregnant], I don't have anything to hide with respect to my life, and it's something you would notice, no?" she said, according to People En Español.

Navarro added that she did not plan to have a child but is very excited. The 36-year-old star has been dating executive Gerardo Casanova for almost three years.

According to TV Notas, Navarro did not expect to share her news so early.

"Yes, it's true," she said about being pregnant. "You were going to find out, and it was logical. I was thinking of giving myself the time so that everything would come out all right, and we hope that it works out that way."

Navarro was probably waiting until her first trimester was over, but after the news broke, she decided to confirm it.

On the show, Navarro works with a group of children. Luckily for Navarro, "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" is wrapping up soon. Shooting a telenovela can be intense, as the actors work for months on end with very few breaks.

Producer Juan Osorio previously said that Pablo Montero would be returning to the show, according to TV Notas.

"The return of Pablo Montero is coming, many things and surprises that we are working on," he said. "The big finale we want to do in the Aztec Stadium, we are figuring out all the logistics; we are going to surprise the public with the finale because normally a novela ends with a wedding, and this won't end with a wedding."
