TLC ‘19 Kids & Counting’ Season 9 Cast News & Spoilers: Jessa Duggar, Ben Seewald Wedding Plans and Baby News Dominate New Season Premiere
The Season 9 premiere of TLC's hit reality show "19 Kids and Counting" launched Tuesday night and Jessa Duggar was in wedding-planning mode with Ben Seewald.
"We have two and a half months to get this wedding planned," Jessa, 22, said during the show.
In the episode, Jim Bob Duggar, 49, said that a Duggar wedding typically costs between $10,000 and $20,000. "It all adds up in a hurry," he added.
"Jessa definitely has her opinions about how things should be done," mother Michelle, 48, said. "Jessa is going to want things to be simple."
Fans will finally get to see Jessa marry Seewald, 19, this season. The wedding took place on Nov. 1 in a ceremony attended by more than 1,000 family members and friends.
The couple is also ready to move into a house of their own. Jim Bob already has the ideal place picked out -- Grandma Duggar's small house that Josh and Anna Duggar once lived in for five years.
"Michelle and I have talked about it and if we can go give our children a place to rent really cheap when they first start off, that will really help a couple to bond together," he told E! News. "At least for the first couple of years."
While the house is filled with family history and happy memories, Jessa has her concerns about mold in the master bedroom and needed repairs.
Her sister Jill Duggar Dillard, 23, got a much bigger house when she married, but Jessa swears she is not jealous.
"The reason why Jill got the big house was because it's really close to Derick's work and so it's kind of the opposite of town. We don't mind though, really," she said. "That's a lot of work to keep up with. They have three floors. It's got to be a lot of work."
Jill and her husband Derick, 25, are preparing for the arrival of their baby boy, expected this spring.
