Katy Perry is rumored to be pregnant with former boyfriend John Mayer's child, and the couple is expected to soon wed.

OK Magazine reports the 30-year-old Perry is expecting her first child, and her and Mayer are looking to take things to the next level after recently rekindling their on-again, off-again romance.

"The buzz in her close group of friends is that she's two months pregnant," a source told the magazine. "They're getting married in April. They want to spend their lives together, and it looks like that exactly what's going to happen."

The source added initially Perry was leery about sharing her pregnancy news with the 37-year-old Mayer because of their rocky history together. But since learning of the news, Mayer has reportedly been nothing but excited by it.

"He adores Katy and has been a mess since their last break up," the source added. "He wants to start a family."

Perry and Mayer first began dating in 2012 and are rumored to have reconciled in recent weeks after being spotted on dates together during back-to-back weekends.

"They actually buried the hatchet a while back and they are friends," a source recently told People magazine.

The "I Kissed A Girl" singer was previously married to actor Russell Brand, but the couple divorced after just 14 months of marriage, with Perry citing career schedules and his desire to have a family before she was ready to do so as some of their biggest issues. Perry later said she learned her husband planned to seek a divorce through a text message he sent to her.

Mayer, meanwhile, has been romantically linked to Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly, Reena Hammer, Vanessa Carlton and Rhona Mitra.
