Iggy Azalea and boyfriend Nick Young enjoyed a Hawaii vacation complete with canoeing by beautiful waterfalls, zip lining and seeing lava, according to the rapper.

The perfect vacation ended on a sour note when paparazzi published photos of Iggy in a red bikini that resulted in unkind comments about the Australian singer's body on social media, and now she's taking a break from the medium.

"Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it's shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have cellulite. Lol," Iggy Azalea posted on Twitter Thursday morning.

The insults about her body aren't the only thing bothering the "Fancy" singer about the incident.

"I just want to have peace and relaxation time without a perve with long distance lense hiding out taking pictures, everyone deserves peace," she tweeted.

The recording artist said that at times she feels the hatred and pettiness she sees online, and it is making her become an angry person.

"To become nasty because of the way I feel iam treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise i will try to keep smiling," she wrote.

Iggy Azalea, 24, told her fans that she was taking time away from social media because "it is too negative and draining."

"The Internet is the ugliest reflection of man kind there is," she added.

It isn't the first time Iggy Azalea has been bullied on social media. In December, rapper Azealia Banks took to Twitter to call her names and accuse the Australian-born hip hop artist of making money off black culture while ignoring issues that affect black people.

In September, Azalea responded to FlipMode Squad rapper Rah Digga's diss that she is "not real hip-hop" on Twitter.

Now that her social media accounts are handled by her public relations team, it seems the star will refrain from posting personal pictures. For example, photos posted to Instagram on Wednesday are commercial in nature and described as "outtakes" from a Steve Madden photoshoot.
