Charlie Hunnam may have quit the Fifty Shades of Grey film, but he has no hard feelings against his replacement, Jamie Dornan, or his would-be director, Sam Taylor-Johnson.

Hunnam was spotted getting on his motorcycle like a true "Sons of Anarchy" star when he briefly chatted about his feelings about Dornan as his replacement as Christian Grey.

"I'm sure he'll do a great job," Hunnam told TMZ.

Hunnam, who dropped out of the film on Oct. 12, however, said he does not know Dornan personally.

"I don't really know his work, but I know Sam [Taylor-Johnson], director, is amazing, and she has fantastic taste," he said. "So I'm sure he'll do a great job."

When asked who he would pick as his Christian Grey, Hunnam responded confidently with "I'm sure she made a great choice."

The actor declined to name his pick for Anastasia Steele, who is being portrayed by Dakota Johnson.

On Oct. 12, Universal Pictures and Focus Features announced that Hunnam would no longer portray the S&M-loving businessman because of his "immersive TV schedule." The abrupt announcement came after a slew of fan backlash requesting other actors, especially Matt Bomer, to replace Hunnam. As a result, fans questioned if a busy schedule was the true reason for Hunnam's departure. Rumors that that Hunnam quit the film because he could not handle the pressure or because he wanted more creative control surfaced, but according to Hunnam, he is busy with his final season as "Sons of Anarchy's" Jax Teller and his family.

"I am just really concentrating on work. It's been a really busy time," Hunnam said after his departure. "I have had some family stuff going on, so just trying to stay focused, and stay positive, and keep trying to do a good job at work, and be with my family and stay positive."

Fifty Shades of Grey will be released Feb. 13, 2015.
