Bill Cosby Rape Allegations: Richard Pryor Widow Jennifer Lee Claims Comedian's Wife Knew He Was 'Dirty on the Inside'
Richard Pryor's widow is blasting Bill Cosby as a "hypocrite," who "f-----d everything that moved" over the course of his Hollywood career.
Jennifer Lee, who was twice married to Pryor including the last four years of his life, told the "Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend" podcast show she considers the legendary Cosby a "piece of s-t" and lingering sex abuse allegations lodged against him has only added to her disdain for him.
"Richard was dirty on the outside, but he was a good person on the inside," she said, adding that Cosby often looked down on her husband over his use of profanity in his act. "Bill hated Richard because he 'worked dirty.' Bill worked clean, so therefore, you know Bill's just a f-----g hypocrite and dirty on the inside."
Over the last several months, Cosby has come under heavy criticism after a parade of women came forward to allege he drugged and sexually assaulted them over the years.
"This kind of s--t that we're finding out about is beyond. I wasn't aware of this kind of business," said Lee. "There are people in the business who were aware of it and they're coming out now."
Lee added she firmly suspects Cosby's wife of the last 50-plus years, Camille, was aware of his alleged tendencies.
"Of course she knew," she said. "Why is she going for the 'okie-doke,' as Richard would say? That's anybody's guess. I can guess why -- ka-ching."
Last week during "Saturday Night Live's" 40th anniversary show Eddie Murphy refused to star in a skit mocking Cosby's fall of grace. Just the same, Lee predicts Cosby's best days as a performer are behind him.
"Yeah, he's done," she said.
Richard Pryor died of a heart attack in 2005.
