The One Direction boys have been plagued with rumors about their sexuality. Over the past years, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have been in question; and now, Liam Payne is getting the same accusations of being bisexual.

Over the past weeks, rumors about Liam's sexuality have been buzzing online and in tabloids. Many reports claim that aside from liking girls, the 1D lad is only into boys. While the claims seem a bit absurd, especially since Liam has been in publicized relationship: with Danielle Peazer, a rumored fling with singer Leona Lewis, and now, with Sophia Smith. Nonetheless, the rumors continue to spread like wild fire.

Addressing the issue, Liam clarified that he only has eyes for women, and that's no surprise to us, especially with his uber good looks.

"I'd like to say I'm not bisexual," the singer told Hollywood Life, backstage at the X Factor USA where the boys performed last Thursday (Nov. 20). "That was one quite big rumor. Apparently I am bisexual, but I'm not bisexual."

Notably, the rumors continue to spread even as a new report continues to blaze online. Apparently, Liam is having his first baby with current girlfriend, Sophia. According to reports, after dating for over three months, the couple will soon welcome their love child, and that both Payne's sister and mom have already confirmed the news. However, both camps have not yet commented on the issues. And should Smith be pregnant, then this should end rumors that Payne is bisexual.

Aside from finally putting a stop to rumors, Payne also revealed backstage that he was happy to be back on the X Factor stage, especially since the UK counterpart of the singing competition made them the superstars that they are now.

"It's quite strange being back on X Factor because you kind of know what the contestants go through and know what to expect next also," he told PEOPLE. "You know all the emotions they're going through."

Liam Payne, together with the four other members of One Direction, will be dropping their third studio album Midnight Memories on Nov. 25.
