Smartphone applications have had an uphill battle in transforming everything to fit the new iOS 7 platform, but some apps are making a nice turnaround.

The most recent app to make a smooth change is the Dropbox, which is a useful application for users who need the ability to combine and share their documents and videos to others.

As described in the iTunes store, the application was just updated to Version 3.0.

"Dropbox lets you bring all your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Access any file you save to your Dropbox from all your computers, iPhone, iPad and even the Dropbox website!" it reads.

The biggest improvement to the app has to do with convenience as users will now be able to just tap on photos or videos in order to toggle the full screen mode.

Of course, the app also underwent changes to the design to help it become more aligned with the modern-day iOS design as opposed to the older iOS 6 interface that was more or less unchanged since the earliest days of the iPhone.

At Dropbox.com, the company wrote a blog post to introduce users to the new features but also teased everyone with some hints of big things looming in the near future.

"The new Dropbox app is a bit like a new beginning for Dropbox on iOS," the blog post read. "While many things will feel familiar, we hope you'll notice the small tweaks that make a pretty big difference. And maybe best of all, it sets the stage for some exciting things to come.
