On Tuesday, the couples will try to do the traditional things they missed since their unconventional weddings.

"Jason and Cortney try to rebound from their fight with a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the bachelor and bachelorette parties they never had since they met at the altar," according to the official description of Episode 8, "What Happens in Vegas." "Monet spends New Year's Eve with a new romantic interest. Meanwhile, Doug looks at diamond rings in preparation for the proposal he never got to make to Jamie."

FYI shared a teaser video on its Facebook page, which starts off with Jason saying that he wants to ask Cortney to marry him. But when he actually asks her to get remarried in Vegas, Cortney just says "um" before being cut off.

Jason and Cortney do not go to Vegas alone. They are joined by friends, and they are seen dancing and betting.

The previous episode showed the couples' Christmas plans.

Doug worked to give Jamie a good Christmas, because her previous ones had not been great. Jamie invited her mother to come, but Jamie's mom did not end up attending, according to International Business Times.

Doug proved that he would try to support his wife in any way that he could.

"I will give Jamie's mom as many chances as Jamie will," Doug said. "It's not my place to ever say don't invite somebody."

Doug did give Jamie a memorable Christmas. He decided to buy her a car, and she was surprised. Doug said that he bought her the car because his wife always thinks of others first.

As for Cortney and Jason, their empty apartment was just a new move. Cortney walked into a home without any furniture, but Jason told her that while she was on her trip, a new apartment across the hall opened up, IBT reports.

Cortney gave Jason sexy images of herself for Christmas, which Jason appreciated.

"Our first Christmas gave us another boost of confidence in our relationship that we're going to be OK," Cortney said.

But they ended up fighting when Jason did not tell her why he did not want to be surrounded by extended family.

"Married at First Sight: The First Year" airs Tuesdays on FYI at 9 p.m. ET.
