Ultimate Fighting Championship ring announcer Bruce Buffer believes Ronda Rousey could compete with bantamweight fighters in the men's division after dominating her opponents in her previous fights.

Buffer told TMZ Rousey could win against male fighters in UFC. Aside from winning against male opponents, the popular ring announcer is even convinced that Rousey will be one of the top 20 bantamweights even if she will be pitted against male opponents.

"Quite frankly I'm sure she would do very well against at least half the division she's in which is the bantamweight." Buffer said of Rousey, the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion.

Buffer was impressed with the way Rousey scored a quick submission victory over Cat Zingano during their title fight at UFC 184 on Saturday, calling "Rowdy" a beast and the most dominant fighting athlete today.

Rousey, who remained unbeaten in 11 fights inside the Octagon, needed just 14 seconds to defend her title against Zingano, who failed to withstand the straight armlock from the reigning bantamweight champion.

"She sees movements in slow motion to give the left brain the time to make the body react to it and she transitions beautifully to that straight armlock," Buffer said. "It was amazing. She is the most dominant fighting athlete in the world. There is nobody more dominant in a female fighting athlete than Ronda Rousey."

Rousey, who defeated Alexis Davis in 16 seconds in July last year and Sara McMann in 66 seconds in February last year, also impressed UFC president Dana White.

White said that fans inside the Staples Center could have been disappointed because the fight ended in just 14 seconds, but the UFC president said that most of them were in awe after witnessing the impressive victory.

"There are very few situations when a fight goes 14 seconds and the crowd is cheering and going crazy, looking at each other with their mouths open," White said on Saturday via ESPN. "Everybody knows how awesome Ronda is, but everybody was looking at each other with their mouths open because she was fighting Cat Zingano."

White said that the two fighters will likely face each other again in a rematch, but Rousey is also being linked to a showdown against unbeaten fighters Holly Holm and Bethe Correia, and also Invicta FC featherweight ruler Cris Justino, who has been linked to the UFC bantamweight champion over the past several years.
