NBC recently picked up a variety show titled "I Can Do That" which will be hosted by actor and comedian Marlon Wayans, Entertainment Weekly reports.

"I Can Do That" will air for six episodes which will each be an hour long and feature celebrities performing in live shows with skills they did not know they possessed, says EW.

The celebrities to be featured on "I Can Do That" include celebrity choreographer Cheryl Burke, recording artists Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger, Ciara, standup comedian Jeff Dye and actor Alan Ritchson.

Wayans recently issued a press release, which was obtained by EW, expressing his excitement for the show while predicting its success in the future.

"I am looking forward to doing a fun, entertaining show that hopefully America loves and enjoys. It reminds me of the shows I used to watch as a kid," Wayans said. "The cast is amazing. It's going to be a lot of fun to work with people whose work I admire and to see them in a different light. Who wouldn't want to work with Ciara, Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Burke? And my daughter said if I don't do a show with a Jonas brother, don't come home."

NBC's president of alternative and latenight programming, Paul Telegdy echoed Wayans' praise and predicted that the NBC viewers would fall in love with the show.

"Our viewers are going to fall in love with how these natural-born entertainers push themselves outside of their comfort zones to put on a spectacular show every week," Telegdy said in a press released obtained by Variety.

Variety reports that "I Can Do That" will debut sometime in the summer. Audrey Morrisey of NBC's "The Voice" and Matilda Zoltowski ("Dancing with the Stars") will executive-produce the series for Universal TV, alongside Avi Armoza, head of Israel's Armoza Formats, Rick Alvarez and Wayans.

Variety adds that in addition to Wayans' variety show, Neil Patrick Harris will also have his own separate variety show on the network titled "Takeaway."
