Cristiano Ronaldo might not be single for long. The soccer star is reportedly interested in Mexican sports reporter and model Vanessa Huppenkothen, according to Diez Minutos Magazine.

It is rumored that Ronaldo fell for Huppenkothen when she visited Spain for an event. The Spanish magazine reports that Ronaldo was amazed by her beauty, TV Notas reports.

Huppenkothen took advantage of being in Spain to go see Real Madrid play.

Huppenkothen will interview Ronaldo next month as part of her job duties and that will be another opportunity for the pair to see each other.

Both Huppenkothen and Ronaldo are coming off of breakups. Ronaldo dated model Irina Shayk for five years before the couple broke up this January. Huppenkothen was married to Juan Fernandez Recamier from 2011 to 2013, when they divorced.

Huppenkothen seems like she is ready to start dating again.

"Life really just puts things in its place, you don't have to be looking and it arrives when you least expected," she said in a 2014 interview, according to Latin Times.

"I don't know if I am in love, but I am very hopeful. The smile has returned to Vanessa and the feeling of completeness and goodness," she added.

Huppenkothen also said that she was seeing someone back then who was not from Mexico and the distance made it "very interesting."

With Ronaldo playing in Spain, it would be very interesting if this couple started dating.

Ronaldo's relationship with Shayk reportedly ended after the couple began fighting. Shayk unfollowed Ronaldo on Twitter and then was absent from his celebration for winning his third Ballon d'Or.

Lucia Villalon, a sports journalist, was at Ronaldo's celebration, and the two were suspected to have dated briefly.

All signs point to Ronaldo being single at the moment and interested in Huppenkothen. Stay tuned.
