Assassin's Creed Victory: Next Assasin's Creed Game Will Reportedly Be Released in Late 2015, Creators Have Enough Content for 10 Years
Another Assassin's Creed game will be released in late 2015, according to a report from Ecumenical News.
Ecumenical News cited the pre-order page on Swedish retailer Webbhallen's website. The site lists a release date of Dec. 31, 2015, for Assassin's Creed Victory. That's a little over a year after the last game Assassin's Creed Unity was released.
The next Assassin's Creed game was first rumored in December when images were leaked online. Ubisoft then confirmed it was developing Victory to be its next game in the Assassin's Creed series.
It will be a few months before Ubisoft officially announces the game. They plan to do so at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles in June.
Assassin's Creed Victory will be set during the Victorian era in London, according to PC Advisor. In Unity, the game took takes place in Paris during the French Revolution. In Victory, gamers will be introduced to a new assassin, and Ubisoft confirms the game will be improving.
Ubisoft was disappointed when the leaks of the new game surfaced online.
"It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked," Ubisoft said.
"And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we're disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public."

It looks like Assassin's Creed will be a longstanding series with more titles coming in future years. In fact, according to Darby McDevitta, the writer of the series, there is enough content to keep the game going for at least 10 years.
"We've created 500, 600, 700 years worth of history that we hope to start teasing out for the next 10, 20 years or however long we're around. I particularly love the lore. I've been working the past two years, with all the other writers, on getting a great document together on the First Civilization," McDevitta said.
Assassin's Creed fans will have to wait until E3 to learn confirmed details on the upcoming game.
