James Rodriguez is getting better every day, according to his regular Instagram posts.

He shared a video on Thursday of himself running on an advanced treadmill. He told people that he was "improving every day" in the caption.

It was the first week of February that Real Madrid's James Rodriguez had to leave during a match against Sevilla. It was confirmed by the team that he had a broken foot.

Doctors confirmed that Rodriguez's fifth metatarsal in his foot was broken. Reports thought that he would be out of soccer for about two months, SBNation reported.

Throughout his recovery process, he has been sharing images and videos for his fans.

On February 13, Rodriguez showed a picture of a doctor examining his foot on his Instagram page. Then on Feb. 26, Rodriguez showed a video of himself applying pressure and stretching the injured foot with a exercise ball and stretching band.

"Third week and the sensations are good, stronger than ever," he said on the video, where reggaeton music can also be heard.

When he hit the month mark, Rodriguez was out on the soccer field with a soccer ball. He did not look like he was in pain just about a month after his broken foot.

On March 9, Rodriguez showed another video on his Instagram.

In the video, Rodriguez is using both feet to quickly shoot a soccer ball against a pad on the wall. He explained that he was training harder every day. "Every day training with more intensity, progressively," he said.

Even though it looks like Rodriguez is progressing faster than expected, he is not expected to play during Real Madrid's next match against Barcelona on March 22.

Rodriguez's teammate, Carlos Bacca said that Rodriguez is "fine" and in good spirits, ESPN FC reports.

"He says that these kinds of injuries take their time to heal and can be difficult because you can be tricked into thinking you are progressing quicker than you are -- you gain a week in the recovery time then suddenly, you're four weeks behind schedule."

The reason why Rodriguez is doing so much physical activity on his injured foot is probably because he does not want to fall behind schedule.

Reportedly, Rodriguez has planned to return to train with Real Madrid during the first week of April.
