Just when everyone thought Lindsay Lohan was getting back on the right track.

Lohan, 26, was arrested early Wednesday morning when she allegedly hit a pedestrian with her Porsche outside a New York City nightclub.

Allegedly, Lohan hit a 34-year-old man on the knee while driving in a crowded alley nestled between the Dream Downtown hotel-nightclub and the Maritime restaurant in Manhattan at about 12:30 a.m.

Lohan's camp had no comments.

"She's driving in this freight area, going very slow," an NYPD source told The New York Daily News. "She's hitting her horn because there's a lot of people in the area. The crowd moves but she kind of brushes against this one guy. He runs up to her, tells her she hit him. They get out of the car, there's some interaction with her, her entourage and the guy."

According to TMZ, after the accident, one of Lohan's passengers in the SUV got out and checked the vehicle for damage, and then Lohan and friends went inside the hotel.

Then, someone called police while Lohan's was inside and when she walked out of the hotel around 2:30 a.m., officers arrested her.

Reportedly, as Lohan's was taken into custody she screamed, "Call my dad! Call my dad!"

Lohan was booked for leaving the scene and later released on no bail.

TMZ also reported that alcohol was not involved.

The alleged victim, 34, was hospitalized at Bellevue Hospital, but didn't have any visible injuries.

Lohan could face jail time, since she is still on informal probation until 2014 in connection with the theft of jewelry in 2011.
