"Fast and the Furious" star Paul Walker, 40, has died on Saturday afternoon around 3:30p.m. The accident occurred in Santa Clarita, California, as Walker's Porsche apparently lost control and crashed into a tree. The car exploded into flames, with Walker and one more unidentified victim in the car, reported TMZ.

Walker's Twitter and Facebook accounts have confirmed the sad news. Authorities are investigating the details of the accident, not knowing whom Paul Walker was in the car with or whether he was the driver or not. What we do know is that during the car accident, Walker was attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out WorldWide. He had also been "taking people on test drives of the car to raise money for victims of the typhoon in the Philippines", TMZ also reported.

The talented and generous actor was best known for his participation in "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. This news bring great sadness to our hearts, also leaving us wondering what will happen with "The Fast and the Furious 7", which was being filmed currently. Walker has also been a part of many films like "Into the Blue", "Takers", "Joy Ride" and one of my favorite movies 1999's "She's All That".

We have not heard from any of his friends and co-stars as of yet since the news is so recent. We hope to learn more about the accident really soon. Condolences to Paul Walker's family and friends, Hollywood has lost a great one.
