Chris Martin and Kate Hudson are rumored to be dating after being introduced by the Coldplay singer's wife of 10 years, Gwyneth Paltrow.

According to HollywoodLife, Martin was recently spotted with Hudson hanging out on the beach in Malibu sparking all the rumors. The 35-year-old Hudson is reported to still have a close relationship with Paltrow; meanwhile, 38-year-old Martin is also rumored to still be friends with Hudson's 38-year-old ex, Mat Bellamy.

A source told the website Martin and Hudson are "gym buddies," adding "Chris and Kate go to the gym together -- and that's just one of the activities they like to do."

Since publicly splitting from Paltrow in 2014, Martin has been romantically linked to 24-year-old actress Jennifer Lawrence. HollywoodLife previously reported Paltrow suffered a "major meltdown" when the two were first rumored to be an item last October.

Supposedly, the news drove Paltrow to smoke a cigarette and have a drink, something that's said to be wildly out of character for her. Just last month, Martin and Lawrence were rumored to be seriously considering attending last month's Grammy Awards together.

"Jennifer loves Chris' music and would be so psyched to go to the Grammy's with him," a source told HollywoodLife back then. "She wants to support him, but totally understands if he ends up taking his kids."

The source later added, "She would love for them to all go together, but knows it would be a media frenzy for Apple and Moses and doesn't want to call attention to them going as a family when the focus should be on him and his band."

Since his split with Paltrow, the two have often been spotted out and about in Los Angeles with their two children.
