Fans of "Arrow" are in for a wild ride for the rest of Season 3, which will end with a finale that will change the show forever more.

In the last episode of "Arrow," Ra's al Ghul spared Oliver Queen's life but told him that he wanted him to become his successor.

When the show returns on Wednesday, Oliver will be forced to make a decision over whether or not he will become the new leader of the League of Assassins. However, according to "Arrow" star Stephen Amell, this may be an offer that al Ghul cannot refuse -- literally.

"If you know Ra's al Ghul and you know his tactics. ... [Y]ou realize that it's an offer in name only. It's not really an offer. It's a demand. If Oliver says no, there are going to be incredibly dire consequences," said Amell during a panel discussion at Saturday's Paleyfest, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Amell went on to tease that Ra's al Ghul's pitch "actually does force [Oliver] to really look within himself. We see a very different Oliver, a more introspective, a more vulnerable and, in a lot of ways, defeated version of the character as we move towards the last portion of our episodes," teased Amell, adding that "You can only push people away for so long."

Amell also revealed why Oliver finds al Ghul's offer so enticing.

"One of the things that Ra's pitches to him is that the League does as Ra's al Ghul commands. So if he commands that they stop killing, they stop killing. You are the architect of the League of Assassins when you're Ra's al Ghul and that's an army for him to command... in theory," said the actor, reports SuperHeroHype.com.

The show also debuted a sizzle reel, dropping spoilers about the rest of the season, including the fact that Ray Palmer and Det. Lance will both learn that Oliver is the Arrow.

However, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said that the revelation about Oliver's alter ego has a lot of pros.

"Now that somebody knows and more people will find out, for us it's actually a relief because we don't have to keep structuring these ridiculous [excuses for suddenly exiting]," he says. "Now that everybody knows, it creates a whole different kind of dynamic. Now there are no secrets, so it creates different kinds of secrets."

In the meantime, executive producer Marc Guggenheim hinted that Oliver's acceptance of al Ghul's offer may hurt Team Arrow, who face the real possibility of losing their leader.

Whatever Oliver decides, "After the end of season 3, the show will never be the same again," Kreisberg says ominously.
