Bobbi Kristina Brown Near Drowning: Bobbi Kristina's Cousin Defends Nick Gordon, Says He's 'Cooperated' With the Family
A cousin of the still comatose Bobbi Kristina Brown is coming to the defense of boyfriend Nick Gordon as rumors continue to swirl about his potential involvement in her being found face down in the bathtub of a home the couple shared together.
According to People.com, Jerod Brown is convinced Gordon is also a victim in the whole ordeal, insisting that despite growing speculation to the contrary Gordon "has cooperated" with the family in providing details about what all that may have happened.
The only daughter born to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was rushed to a Georgia hospital unconscious on Jan. 31 and since then has remained in a medically induced coma and on life support.
Police have reportedly also launched a criminal investigation into the circumstances of the situation that targets Gordon after several unexplained bruises were found on Bobbi Kristina's body.
Bobby Brown and other family members have also made it a point of not allowing Gordon to visit his 22-year-old girlfriend. Over the weekend, Jerod Brown took to Facebook to post, "Nick has cooperated with the police. He has given my family members as much information as he can."
Jerod Brown later continued his defense of Gordon by adding, "He has been exploited on national television with hidden cameras that he had no idea about. He has given Kristina CPR which is one of the reasons why she is not dead till this day. He has been ridiculed and accused without any concrete evidence, yet he still hasn't gotten the chance to visit his girl. If everyone truly believes that Nick is the blame for this situation wouldn't you think he would already be locked up by now?"
Bobbi Kristina Brown's body was found almost exactly three years after her mother was found dead in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel where she was staying. Authorities have since revealed Whitney Houston had drugs in her system at the time of her death.
