Fantasy Football fanatics have reached the biggest point of the season with the first round of the playoffs starting in just two days.

As we inch closer to the start of the playoffs, some teams will be kicking back while enjoying a first round bye. Plenty of other teams, however, will be scrambling to put the finishing touches on their rosters with only a small amount of time before Thursday night's matchup between the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Heading into the week there are a number of players who could be on the fence between your starting lineup and your bench. Do you start the player or do you bench him? We have a list of some players worth starting and, of course, we offset that with a list of players to keep on your reserve pile for future playoff games.

Start:

1.     Reggie Bush - It's still easy to think of the former USC star as an NFL bust after he didn't exactly live up to the expectations following his college career. However, Bush has enjoyed a re-emergence since heading to Detroit and now he puts up consistently solid numbers, week after week. Last week he matched his season-high in points total for a game so it would be wise to give him another chance.

2.     Russell Wilson - some teams don't have much of a choice between quarterbacks but some of the top teams - playoff teams - may have such powerful teams that it isn't always easy to pick between the two. With the Seahawks on fire even more than ever after the win over New Orleans, Wilson is a good choice heading this week.

3.     Maurice Jones-Drew - He was in the middle of his second consecutive mediocre season but lately Jones-Drew has emerged as one of the top fantasy running backs. He's facing Houston this week so he's a great option to start.

Sit:

1.     Antonio Gates - This tight end's best days are way behind him now and his 2013 stats reflect that. Just this past weekend Gates had two fumbles including one lost fumble. Gates used to be a player who could match any top wide receiver's totals for a game, even as a tight end, but now he's only best in situations where you are desperate to fill an empty roster spot.

2.     Hakeem Nicks - Fantasy owners just keep going back to Nicks with hope that he will snap out of his funk and get into the endzone. So far this season has been a complete disappointment and missed opportunity for a player that is entering free agency.

3.     Wes Welker - It has seemed like Welker hasn't even played in the last four games. One of Peyton Manning's favorite targets earlier in the season is now starting to slow down later in the season.
