MTV's "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans ought to be planning a fairytale wedding since her January engagement, but instead, the mother-of-two has been living separated from her fiancé, Nathan Griffith, since he was arrested and charged with domestic violence after a fight the couple had on March 4 at their Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, home.

Griffith, the father of Evans' son Kaiser, 8 months, has been staying with a friend due to a no-contact order imposed by the judge. Sources close to the young couple say once the no-contact order is lifted, Evans has every intention of reconciling with her baby daddy and soon-to-be husband, reports Radar Online.

"Jenelle is taking Nathan back," the couple's friend told Radar Online. "They are working things out."

Radar Online reports that in February Griffith was caught secretly communicating with another woman and the couple has struggled with trust issues ever since.

It is still unclear exactly what sparked the domestic violence incident between the couple on March 4. It was played out at the couple's home in front of MTV crews there to shoot footage for "Teen Mom." The MTV production crew called 911 to report they had been locked out of the house and heard screams coming from inside, but did not know what was happening.

Evans also called 911 and told police, "My ex fiancé he's sitting here, he took the car keys from me denying me to go to school tomorrow. Both of our names are on the car. He doesn't even have his license and I can't take my son to school tomorrow."

TMZ reported that Griffith had pinned Evans to a toilet and ripped her engagement ring off her finger, leaving a cut.

It has been a little over two weeks since the incident, and, according to sources, the wayward couple is already showing signs of reconciliation.

"Jenelle and Nathan have not been speaking directly to each other, but Jenelle has been speaking to Nathan's friend Josh, who Nathan is currently staying with," the friend revealed. "Josh tells Jenelle how Nathan's been feeling and that Nathan said he wants to work it out."

Evans has reportedly been spotted wearing the engagement ring that Griffith gave her.

There has been no word about when the order of protection will be lifted.

Hollywood Life reports that fans will get the full scoop about the domestic violence incident during Season 6 of "Teen Mom 2." The premiere date has not been announced.

The couple has one son, Kaiser, and Evans is battling her mother to regain custody of her 5-year-old son, Jace, from a previous relationship.
