The premiere episode of Season 2 of "Married at First Sight" aired last week and fans were shown what went on during the wedding preparations for expertly matched couples who are complete strangers to one another.

For those not familiar with the show, "Married at First Sight" features six people who agree to get married to complete strangers who relationship experts have paired them up with.

In addition to the six strangers, the show features a sexologist, a spiritualist, a psychologist and a sociologist who guide the couples along the way and use their expertise to ensure a successful relationship among the strangers.

The show documents the social experiment over the course of several weeks and at the season finale, the couples decide whether they want to stay together or go their separate ways.

In the first episode of Season 2, fans were introduced to the paired couples, Channel Guide reports.

Ryan D., a 29-year-old business owner, was paired with Jessica, a 30-year-old receptionist.

Ryan R., a 28-year-old real estate agent, was paired with Jaclyn, a 30-year-old sales representative for a popular vodka brand.

Finally, Sean, a 35-year-old ER/trauma nurse, was paired with 34-year-old Davina, a biopharmaceutical sales rep.

In the upcoming second episode, viewers will watch as the paired couples meet each other for the first time at the wedding ceremony. From what is shown on the trailer, some couples view the experiment as exciting while others express their nervousness and cold feet over what is about to happen.

And though there is some uneasiness among the participants of the show, viewers can rest assured that every couple does pull through and gets married.

Following the wedding ceremony, fans can expect to see what happens during the receptions and whether the couples spark romance immediately or whether they lack interest in one another.

The second episode of "Married at First Sight" airs Tuesday, March 24 at 9/8c on A&E.
