"Arrow" and "The Flash" fans better beware--there's a new villain coming that's ready to super-charge their weeknight screens!

It looks like "Arrow" and "The Flash" will collide once again as the evil Deathbolt will appear in "Arrow" and will also make an appearance on the hit series "The Flash."

Doug Jones, who is slated to play the villainous role of Deathbolt on "Arrow", revealed on Twitter that the character will also make an appearance in "the Flash."

The tweet read:

Based on the tweet from Jones, the character will appear on the penultimate episode of the first season, entitled "Rogue Air."

The episode's title refers to the Rogues, the iconic group of The Flash's main villains in the DC comics. A number of Rogue's members have already appeared including Captain Cold and Heat Wave. Deathbolt will first appear on "Arrow" in the episode "Broken Arrow" on April 15.

Then, the character will head on over to "The Flash" on April 21 when "Rogue Air" debuts.

For the uninitiated, Deathbolt, known by his alias as James Simmons, was created by the supervillain gorilla known as The Ultra-Humanite to aid him in his battles against the heroic All-Star Squadron. Much like Spider-Man's Electro, Deathbolt possesses the power of electrokinesis, not only able to fire bolts of deadly electricity from his body but also generate, absorb, and even channel electrical currents. Shocking, no?

Deathbolt's appearance on "Arrow" is historic, as it will mark the first time that a metahuman supervillain appears on the wildly successful "Green Arrow" live-action adaptation, chronicling the adventures of billionaire-turned-vigilante crusader Oliver Queen. As "Flash" fans know, the "Arrow" series--where Barry Allen first appeared--served as the flashpoint (no pun intended) for the Scarlet Speedster's origins.

The series stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, and Tim Cavanaugh. The series has garnered rave reviews and critics are raving about the series, stating that it benefits from "purposefully light atmosphere, making it a superhero show uniquely geared toward genre fans as well as novices." The movie has a 96 percent aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes and has also garnered high TV ratings.

The season ends in April and CW has already signed on for another season.
