Jurgen Klinsmann will continue his experimentation with the USA national team during an international friendly on Wednesday against Denmark.

Without Clint Dempsey (who withdrew due to injury), the Team USA coach has called upon a series on newer players among veterans such as Brek Shea, Alejandro Bedoya, Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley and Aron Johannsson, among others. Among the newcomers are Ventura Alvarado, William Yarbrogh and Cody Copper. A number of players on the roster are currently playing in Mexico and Europe and Klinsmann saw this as an opportunity to use players that are in mid-season form as opposed to those just starting to get their MLS seasons underway.

"It's a great opportunity to look at our many players based in Europe and Mexico while the MLS players are still getting into a rhythm. We are here to challenge ourselves against two strong opponents, and at the end of the day we also want to get results," said Klinsmann according to reports.

This is the fifth meeting with Denmark for the United States. The Red, White and Blue has never managed a win against the European side and holds a record of two draws and two defeats.

The Danes are not participating in the Euro Qualifiers during this international break, but will certainly see this as an opportunity to tune up ahead of the qualifiers in June. The team currently sits atop its group in European Qualifiers with two wins, one draw and one defeat. The lone defeat came at home against Portugal when Cristiano Ronaldo scored a winner in the fifth minute of stoppage time in the second half. Portugal trails Denmark in the standings by just a single point; however, the Portuguese have one game in hand and could leap over Denmark into first place with a victory over Serbia on March 29.

Predictions
