Xur is back in Destiny, and this week, he brought the MIDA Multi-Tool with him. In addition, Xur has the Obsidian Mind helmet, Achlyophage Symbiote and Ruin Wings. 

This week he can be found by the Crucible quartermaster, according to VG24/7. 

Here's a look at the other items you can obtain in exchange for your Strange Coins. 

The MIDA Multi-Tool is a scout rifle that all Guardians should possess because of the boost to speed it can provide, which is particularly useful in the Crucible, but can also help during portions of the Crota's End raid.

The Achlyophage Symbiote helmet for hunters that can be purchased for 13 Strange Coins. It comes in at 93 discipline. 

The Obsidian Mind helmet for Warlocks is now available from Xur for the second time for 13 Strange Coins. Its perks make it most appealing for players who utilize the Voidwalker subclass. 

Four basic Curios are available for 1 Strange Coin each. The Pulse Rifle Telemetry, the Hand Cannon Telemetry, the Fusion Rifle Telemetry will help you level your weapons up faster, and Heavy Ammo Synthesis will keep your rocket launchers and machine guns loaded.

The Plasma Drive upgrade and the Emerald Coil upgrade can each be had for 23 Strange Coins.

Exotic items can be upgraded by turning in the original item to Xur, giving him an exotic shard and about 7,000 glimmer. This week Xur's list of exotic upgrades includes The Armamentarium, The Last Word, and Thorn.

The best way to earn Strange Coins is by completing the Weekly Heroic Strike on all three difficulties. Each character can only earn 9 Strange Coins per week.
