On Episode 19 of Season 12 of "NCIS," the murder of a petty officer sparks an even bigger and wider investigation.

According to CBS, the episode focuses on Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) leading an investigation that "takes an interesting turn when they lead to a 40-year-old" bombing being uncovered.

With the 40-year-old cold case now suddenly reopened, the duo is forced to share with McGee (Sean Murray) news that they have also been secretly working on an airport bombing case for roughly two years without the cybersecurity expert's knowledge.

"Expect some drama" as the episode's subplot follows McGee's lingering jealous," according to Christianity Daily.

Ecumenical News adds, based on the synopsis provided by Hollywood Hills: "it seems writers at 'NCIS' are giving McGee's character a lot more depth."

During last week's episode, "Status Update," McGee and Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshmann) talked about reconciling their relationship after he returned to Washington from Dubai. An April 14 episode is also said to revolve on McGee's character serving as the new face of NCIS recruitment team.

The next episode is set to air on Tuesday, March 31, at 8 p.m. Special guest stars for the episode include: Lisa Banes (Ambassador Olivia Edmunds), Kathe Mazur (Navy Vice Admiral Dawn Tyson), A Martinez (Tom Orlando), Arturo del Puerto (Eddie "Collarbone" Rosario), Dan Thiel (Seal Team Commander Joe Hankos), Stephanie Fantauzzi (Lolita Cortes), Roxana Ortega (Doctor Susanna Soto), Ryan Carlberg (Navy Petty Officer First Class John Goode), Theresa June-Tao (Chrissy), Samantha Cope (Heather) and Andrew Bongiorno (Navy Lieutenant Louis Freston).

CBS officials have yet to announce if the show will be returning for a new season.

Former "NCIS" star Cote de Pablo will be starring in CBS' "The Dovekeepers," which will center around the women who stand up to the Romans at Masada.

"I had a chance to go to Masada a couple of years ago when I was first doing 'NCIS,'" she said, according to USA Today. You are on top of a mountain (where) on one end you've got the desert and on the other, the Dead Sea. It's a remarkable story of survival, never giving up hope or faith and holding up to what you believe are important values, principles and dignity."
