After a series of LG G Flex 2rumors have emerged online, the latest one comes up with speculations that it can be able to curve up to a whopping 90 degrees angle.

According to Trusted Reviews website, the original smart phone was recently launched in Korea before it had its European rollout by the New Year. Now its second generation phone boasts of its bendable feature that can flex up to 90 degrees to protect it from easily breaking. Sources claimed that the company is developing a smart phone that has a bendable feature for a release next year.

The first generation LG G Flex comes with a 6 inch display with 720p HD specification. Its bent shape is compared to that of a banana due to its plastic substrate material. Other specs include the Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera and a battery of 3500mAh. Its total weight reaches 177g and thickness measuring at 7.9mm.

Tech Radar emphasized in their article that the LG G Flex is a smart phone that can be considered to fall between the category of the curved and foldable units. Two of today's popular curved smart phones include the first generation LG G Flex along with the Samsung Galaxy Round. However, both have not made it to other places yet aside from Asia.

Samsung is another company who has experimented with the concept of flexible displays and a similar concept like the LG G Flex 2 is rumored to be planned too by the Korean tech giant. Both LG and Samsung are also putting efforts on improving their batteries.

Talk Android thinks that the LG G Flex 2 will make it in the market by 2014 and LG may plan to have it offered in stores before even Samsung releases the successor to their own Galaxy Round.
