Nicki Minaj & Safaree Samuels Breakup News Update 2015: 'Truffle Butter' Rapper Reportedly Breaks Down in Tears After Hearing Ex-Boyfriend Has a Baby on the Way [Watch]
Following his split from longtime girlfriend Nicki Minaj not too long ago, Safaree Samuels is already a father-to-be.
The Trinidadian emcee's former lover took to his Twitter account on March 23 to make a shocking announcement: "I got a baby on the way."
According to Urban Islandz, Minaj received the news while preparing for the Paris stop of her ongoing "The Pinkprint" tour and broke down in tears.
"Her team just saw her started crying out of nowhere, but only the people close to her knew why," a source revealed. "Getting some news like this can be hard, especially when you still love that person."
However, Meek Mill then flew out to the City of Light to support his rumored new girlfriend. Although he was only scheduled to join the Young Money artist for her U.S. dates kicking off in July, the Maybach Music Group rapper took the stage on March 26 to perform his hit, "Ima Boss."
"Meek has always been that shoulder that she can lean on and that has brought them closer, so I wasn't surprised when he flew to Paris to see her," the source added.
The Philly native also professed his love for the "Truffle Butter" hitmaker, writing both of their names together on a Parisian wall.
Minaj seemed to feel much better, as she took a series of intimate photos with Meek Mill. "PARISSS!!!!!!!!!!! U ARE THE FKN TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm obsessed. No one F*X with u!!!!!!! @meekmill thnku for cmn out boo #ThePinkprintTOUR," she captioned one of the images.

Minaj is one of a few artists who recently changed their Twitter avatar in support of Jay Z. The rapper acquired music service Tidal, so celebrities like Beyonce, Rihanna and Kanye West changed their images to a blue square. MTV reports that Jay Z will be making an announcement on Monday at 5 p.m.
