'Vikings' Season 3 Episode 7 Spoilers: Ragnar Comes Face to Face With Emperor Charles
In Season 3, Episode 7 of "Vikings," the people of Paris grow increasingly alarmed over the Viking fleet.
According to OntheFix.com, "The populace of Paris is going to be in a panic after the appearance of the Viking fleet. Emperor Charles, at the behest of his daughter, will announce he'll remain in the city."
In addition, it's been reported that Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) will come "face to face" with Emperor Charles, all while scores of people flee the area from fast approaching invaders. Meanwhile, Judith and her son, Alfred, are expected to remain committed to fighting the Vikings as an ode to his father, Athelstan. (George Blagden)
Several media outlets have described Season 3 as a time of "lots of game-changing events" for the series, including the deaths of both Siggy and Athelstan
With only four episodes remaining this season, more and more scenes are expected to focus on the ongoing raid of Paris. Entitled "Paris," the new episode airs on Thursday, April 2, on the History Channel.
"Vikings" also stars Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha Lothbrok, Clive Standen as Rollo, Gustaf Skarsgard as Floki, Alexander Ludwig as Bjorn Lothbrok, Gabriel Bryne as Earl Haraldson, Alyssa Sutherland as Aslaug and Donal Logue as Kinh Horik of Denmark.
Filmed in Ireland, "Vikings" premiered on the History Channel in March of 2013. The plot line is largely inspired by the life and times of Ragnar Lothbrok, a Viking revered as one of Norse's greatest heroes.
The show aired 10 news episodes this season and earlier this month was picked up for a new, 10-episode fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Nielson ratings system reports the premiere episode of the show drew more than 6 million viewers, making it one of the most watched shows among the higly coveted 18-49-year-old demographic.
