Plies was performing in Tallahasse, Florida on Friday night, and he ended up getting thrown off the stage by one of his fans, TMZ reports.

The "Becky" rapper invited one of his fans to join him on stage, but the fan apparently got too close for comfort.

When Plies called the fan out for invading his personal space, the fan gave what appeared to be a bear hug to Plies and then threw the rapper into the crowd.

TMZ reports that Plies continued his performance once he was brought back on stage by security.

Meanwhile, several fights broke out in the venue, and the violent fan was thrown out by security.

Following the violent outburst, the fan, whose Instagram handle is @cam_aka_kodak, took to Instagram to share his side of the story, HotNewHipHop reports.

The fan explained that he is a big fan of Plies and got close to the rapper so that he could shake his hand.

However, when Plies told him to back away, he felt embarrassed and retaliated by throwing the rapper off stage, possibly making the rapper feel as he felt. 

Plies has not spoken publicly about the incident, but he has posted several Instagram videos since to show that he is doing fine.
