'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Star Edward James Olmos, 'Hellboy' Ron Pearlman & 'The Walking Dead' Stars to Hit Alamo City Comic Con
Oscar-nominee Edward James Olmos, the "Battlestar Galactica" star who's currently starring in "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," will appear at this year's Alamo City Comic Con.
Olmos, who spoke to his fans via a Twitter Q&A on Monday, has been wowing audiences with his talent for decades on both the big screen and small screen. He's known for his memorable roles as William Adama in the re-imagined "Battlestar Galactica," Lt. Martin Castillo in "Miami Vice," math teacher Jaime Escalante in "Stand and Deliver," patriarch Abraham Quintanilla in the film" Selena," Detective Gaff in "Blade Runner." He is also the founder of his own film production company, Olmos Productions.
In addition to Olmos, Alamo City Comic Con 2015 will also welcome Ron Perlman, who's best known as the "devilishly charming Hellboy" on the big screen and "Sons of Anarchy's" Clay Morrow on television, according to My San Antonio.
Fans of "The Walking Dead" will 'liven up' to hear the exciting news that in addition to Olmos and Perlman, "The Walking Dead" stars, John Bernthal and Alanna Masterson, as well as "Sleepy Hollow"/"Fringe" star John Noble will also make appearances at the ACCC 2015.
Also "hot artist" Humberto Ramos of "The Amazing Spider-Man" fame and famous writer/artist Larry Hama.
ACCC is a celebration of comic book artists, writers and publishers in San Antonio, Texas. Besides top tier talent in comic arts, there are top actors from comic-related movies, TV and pop culture in general. There are meet-and-greets, autographs, photo opportunities and view panels with celebs, artists and writers as well as comics, collectibles, and toys available for purchase.
Alamo City Comic Con 2015 runs from Sept. 11-13, 2015 at the Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
