Mexican actor and heartthrob Aaron Diaz and his girlfriend Lola Ponce hit the beach in Miami over the weekend during the Easter holiday.

According to TV Notas, Ponce, 37, and Diaz, 33, vacationed over the weekend in Miami, Florida, taking some time off from the limelight and resting from work. Diaz, known for his roles in “Clase 406” and now part of the telenovela “Tierra de Reyes,” is taking a break along with his family.

Lola Ponce, whom Diaz met on the set of “El Talisman” in 2012, posted various photos and videos on Instagram of the couple enjoying themselves in the pristine Miami beaches.

She captioned the second video with: “Happy Easter! A million kisses, beauties!”

For his part, Aaron Diaz has been championing and promoting “Little Boy” on Twitter. One of the film’s executive producers is Mexican actor Eduardo Verastegui, whom Diaz congratulated for his work.

“Congratulations," he wrote to Verastegui. "You and your team have my admiration and respect for the work you are doing,” Diaz said. "I can't wait to see 'Little Boy'"

Written and directed by Mexican director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, “Little Boy” is set during World War II in California and, according to the Hollywood Reporter, “a sometimes charming, sometimes saccharine World War II drama about faith.”

The film is set to be released to theaters later this month and will star Emily Watson and Tom Wilkinson.
