Wednesday’s Powerball is upon us.

Last Saturday’s winning numbers were: 33, 39, 40, 41 and 54; the Powerball was 28.

And since there was no big time winner the jackpot has rolled over once again and has now reached $70 million, with a $47.1 million cash value.

There were 407,314 non-jackpot winners, with $7,947,525 in non-jackpot prizes awarded.

When daydreaming about winning millions in a lottery, it is fair to assume that most people think about big houses, expensive cars and trading in the daily grind for some posh life of indulgence.

But for Marie Holmes, a 26-year-old single mother from North Carolina, winning $188 million of a $564 million jackpot seems to mostly be about family, stability, and giving back.

Prior to winning the lottery in February, Holmes and her four children (kids that range in age from 9 months to 7 years old) had been living in her mother’s house with six others.

“I don’t have to worry about staying with my mom anymore. I can have my own place,” Holmes said on "Good Morning America."

Speaking of her family Holmes said, as reported by ABC news: “They can have their own house and stuff so it’s going to impact not only mine but the people around me."

Holmes’ oldest boy is afflicted with cerebral palsy, and she has plans to donate money to organizations associated with the neurological disorder.

Holmes speaks with hope about the opportunity she now has to help her son.

“He can get all the help he needs," she said.

Holmes also plans on giving to her church, and not spoiling her children.

“They’re not getting everything they want,” said the young millionaire, adding that "I was told no so you’re going to get told no. You have got to learn.”

There is a 1 in 175,223,510.00 in winning the grand prize.
