Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Cast, Rumors, and Update: Jamie Dornan to Go Full-Frontal Nude in Red Room of Pain Scenes
Readers' Fifty Shades of Grey fantasy may become reality. Rumor has it that Jamie Dornan will be showing his full nude body, back and front, as he plays Christian Grey in the film adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel.
Star magazine reports that Dornan will be showing full-frontal nudity for the movie. Apparently, Dornan, 31, is okay with showing his private parts in the Red Room of Pain scenes in order to make the movie as titillating as possible.
"Fifty Shades of Grey producers know they have to make the screen version just as steamy as the novel to make it a success," a source told the tabloid. "They can't turn it into a Disney movie."
If the rumor is true, it is not likely that Dornan's little Dornan will be seen in a standard release of Fifty Shades of Grey. Producer Dana Brunetti has stated earlier that he is interested in releasing two versions of the film: an R-rated version for the casual filmgoers, and an NC-17 version for Fifty Shades of Grey fans that know a thing or two about enjoying good old fashioned "mommy porn."
"This is just my opinion, and this doesn't mean this is going to happen, but I always thought it would be really cool if we released the R version, and then we had an NC-17 version that we released a few weeks later," Brunetti said in November. "So everybody could go and enjoy the R version, and then if they really wanted to see it again and get a little bit more gritty with it, then have that NC-17 version out there as well."
It has yet to be confirmed if a second, naughtier version of the film is being created.
"It'd be great for the studio too because they'd get a double dip on the box office... What we're kind of hearing from the fans is they want it dirty," Brunetti continued. "They want it as close as possible [to the book]. We want to keep it elevated but also give the fans what they want."
Fifty Shades of Grey will be released Feb. 13, 2015.
