Recently, there have been numerous claims that Beyoncé's father Matthew Knowles is a deadbeat father after falling behind on child support payments for his love child. Knowles subsequently defends himself and hits back at the accusations.

Knowles allegedly owes $24,000 in child support to his former lover and baby mother Alexsandra Wright for their three-year-old son Nixon, whom he has never met. Wright also has claimed that Knowles, who is set to appear in court in Los Angeles on Friday in relation to the child support row, is actually two months behind his maintenance payments.

However, Knowles has denied the previous claims, saying that he has paid what he owes in child support, and has insisted that he is not a deadbeat dad. Also, the sources close to the former music manager of Beyoncé have reported that the "messed up paperwork" is to blame for the current dispute, although Knowles has told his friends that he made the payments slightly late but past the deadline for being credited -- which it only appears like he hasn't paid what he owes.

Matthew Knowles is now reportedly behind for his December payment, which was already due on the 1st, but he allegedly plans to pay $12,000 in full before it officially becomes delinquent.

In addition, Beyoncé's mother Tina filed for divorce from Knowles back in 2009 after he reportedly had an affair with Wright, who got pregnant and requested a paternity test. Beyoncé and her sister Solange didn't attend their father's wedding when he got married to former model Gena Charmaine Avery in Houston, Texas earlier this year.
