Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" flying around in a 1985 DeLorean with Marty McFly? Or maybe you've wondered how Gandalf and Batman might get along, should they get trapped in Kansas without a staff or a Batmobile. One would also have to wonder whether or not Gandalf and that Flux Capacitor would see eye-to-eye.

In the new Lego Dimensions video game, the portal between these worlds has been breached and the characters have spilled over into each other's reality.

As reported on Polygon, Warner Bros. Interactive has leaked the information and this game will be released on Sept. 27. The game is currently in development by Travelers Tales Games. The release will be included on the following platforms: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and the Wii U.

Toy"R"Us has already listed the game on their website and starter packs for all platforms will be $99.99. Included in the bundle are the Lego Toy Pad, Lego Gateway building bricks, Three Lego mini-figures (Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle) and a Lego Batmobile.

This starter pack can also grow, and users can keep adding things to the game with expansion packs. That means even more combinations are available for dynamic new crossovers. All a player has to do is drop them through the Lego Gateway and they magically appear in the game. Users can also play with more than one person.

As reported by Polygon, the Lego Toy Pad and the Lego Gateway allow video gamers to transport their Lego objects into the game. It features a high level of interactivity and allows users to have compatible equipment for future upgrades to the ever-expanding Lego Universe.

The crossover universes include: DC Comics, "The Lego Movie," "The Lord of the Rings," "The Wizard of Oz," "Back to the Future" and Lego Ninjago.
