While dining in at Denny's in Alberta, Canada, rockstar Marilyn Manson was punched in the face by an unidentified person, E! News reports.

On Saturday, Manson went to Denny's to go eat after his tour performance. But upon his arrival at around 2:45 am, Manson was punched in the face for allegedly making rude comments about an unidentified man's girlfriend, TMZ reports.

Despite the claims, Manson's manager told TMZ that Manson never said anything inappropriate and happily agreed to take pictures with two female fans.

As he was posing to take a picture with the fans, a male customer "came out of nowhere" and punched him in the face, Manson's manager told TMZ.

Manson's manager also insists that the rockstar will press charges.

A spokesperson for the Alberta Police Department told E! News that "Lethbridge Police responded to a report of an altercation at a Denny's restaurant along the 400 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Investigation determined that three people had been involved in a physical altercation and sustained minor injuries. No charges were laid and the file has been concluded."

When asked to the name the man who punched Manson, Lethbridge Police explained that it is against their policy.

"As it is our policy not to identify victims (except in homicide/fatal collision files) or release the identity of an accused unless charges have been laid, we are not able to disclose further information with respect to the parties involved."

Marilyn Manson is currently in the midst of his "The Hell Not Hallelujah Tour," which began on March 25 at the Roseland Theater in Portland and will end on Aug. 16 at Summer Sonic in Tokyo.

Manson's Denny's altercation comes on the heels of his interview with Fader where he explained his longtime fascination with makeup.

Manson named his broad imagination as the reason why he chose to wear makeup at young age up until now.

"I suppose my fascination with makeup comes from me having a great imagination and not being able to contain it just to a piece of paper or a piece of music," he explained. "When I was a kid, I used to do the KISS makeup with watercolor paints. I was into KISS mostly because I was told not to listen to it in Christian school."

Manson recently participated in a Reddit AMA, and he talked about an MTV performance where people turned their backs on him.

"...and I came onstage, and I had a cross made of televisions that was on fire, and I was painted entirely back and wearing a cowboy hat," he said. "And the ENTIRE audience turned their backs on me. You will NEVER see it on MTV. The most unusual protest I'd ever seen. I just laughed the entire time. I forgot about the whole "Catholic" thing there... "

Fans then checked out the video and said the story did not line up.
