'Scandal' Season 4 Episode 19 Spoilers: Olivia Tries to Take Down B613, Fitz Struggles to Get Support from Sally [Watch]
In the upcoming episode of “Scandal,” Olivia’s (Kerry Washington) father Rowan (Joe Morton) is back on the scene, bringing all his pent fury to the fore.
As reported by Spoilers Guide the stakes are high in the episode titled "I’m Just a Bill" as Olivia’s team tries to take down B613, the covert government agency run by her old man.
As all this happens Olivia receives a call that the mayor’s wife has been murdered and is asked to take on the case.
Meanwhile, back in the White House, President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) needs help getting a very important bill to pass, but when he expects VP Sally Langston (Kate Burton) to help him things do not go as easily as planned.
So there is a lot of drama, and that’s what “Scandal” fans have come to count on from the ABC series.
In a Vanity Fair piece, David Kamp talks to the creator and showrunner of “Scandal," Shonda Rhimes, about all the plot twists, asking if her writers ever just come up with something and then worry about working out the consequences later.
“No, we never do that,” said the 45-year old writer and producer. “We always have an endpoint. I can’t start writing something unless I know how we’re going to end it.”
Rhimes noted the special relationship between her vision and what the players bring to the table, saying: “My contract with the actors is, 'We’re going to write all the words and you’re going to say all the dialogue, exactly as it’s written.' So then we write it, they act it, I watch.”
“Sometimes I see something that somebody does, and I go, Oh, that means that, or, This character feels this way,” said Rhimes, adding, ”That infuses something into where the character’s going to go next.”
Episode 19 of Season 4 airs on April 16 at 9|8c on ABC.
