Although it will be several months before “Scandal” fans get to see Joe Morton’s “Papa Rowan” character deliver one of his characteristically smooth and caustic monologues, the Emmy award winning actor reprised his role on Comedy Central’s “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.”
Last year Morton, 67, won an Emmy for his work on “Scandal,” and he has just started playing a hospital administrator named Dr. Charles Richmond on TNT’s new supernatural themed series “Proof” which seeks to answer questions about the afterlife in night time soap manner.
The ABC hit political drama, “Scandal,” is out for the summer, which gives fans of the Kerry Washington-fronted show plenty of time to speculate on what is coming up for the cast of stressed out and scheming characters.
