The iOS 8.3 update addressed several issues and brought brand new Emojis to Apple devices.

Just 24 hours later, there is already a bug that is affecting the operating system. MacRumors reports that a "nasty bug" is causing Touch ID sensors to become unresponsive for users trying to use them within the App Store.

The bug has been discussed on Apple Support Communities, Reddit and MacRumors pages.

Users report that the Apple Touch ID has a bug in it that prevents validating a purchase made by a user. Users have checked their settings to make sure that they have enabled Touch ID for the App Store. To check this, users need to go into the settings and then go to iTunes and App Store settings to make sure Touch ID is enabled.

The bug is only affecting devices with Touch ID sensors in them such as the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air 2.

The inoperable Touch ID is causing some to be concerned that hackers could crack into devices and get access to a users' private data and information.

Apple says that there is no serious security threat with the bug. Since the bug is trending on several websites including Apple's own Support Communities, Apple will want to address it quickly.

Apple confirms that a security threat with Touch ID is directly related to Apple Pay since those transactions are verified with Touch ID. The next step for Apple to address the issue would be releasing an update to iOS 8.3 labeled iOS 8.3.1.

The release of iOS 8.3 was designed to give iOS users a faster and more comfortable experience. The speed of scrolling and overall performance was improved and the new Emojis were added.

Apple plans to release an iOS 8.4 in the future. This update will include the Beats streaming music service.
