Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles married actor Richard Lawson on Sunday, April 12.

The newlywed couple's wedding ceremony took place on a yacht that cruised around the harbor in Newport Beach, California, TMZ reports.

All 300 guests invited to the wedding were required to wear white. Us Weekly reports that Beyonce wore a long white lace dress and floral head band, while Jay-Z donned an all-white suit.

Following the ceremony, Beyonce posted a photo of her newlywed mom and her mom's husband on her official website.

In the photo, taken by Cliff Watts, Tina is shown wearing a long-sleeved, floor length Romona Keveza gown with a gold belt while her husband Richard Lawson donned an all white suit with a matching bowtie.

This marks Tina's second marriage. She was previously married to talent manager Mathew Knowles, who she divorced in 2011 following his infidelity.

While speaking at the International Women & Money Leadership luncheon in October, Tina discussed her battles with low-self esteem following her divorce from Mathew.

"[Divorce] does something to your whole self-esteem and psyche because I had been married for 33 years ..." she explained. "When something strikes you like that, it takes the breath out of you, but my fight came back."

Tina went on to reveal that Lawson helped her deal with the emotional pain from her divorce. It was with his help that Tina was able to get through her divorce and eventually find love in Lawson.

"[Richard] said, 'I want to support you during [the divorce]. I'm going to come to Houston.' So he came to Houston, I went to LA afterwards, and it's been now a year and five months," Tina said at the time. "I'm in a committed relationship with that handsome man!"

According to Us Weekly, Lawson is an actor who is best known for his work on the ABC soap opera, "All My Children" and the 1982 horror film "Poltergeist."
