New Zealand singing sensation Lorde has been nominated for four GRAMMYs at next year's 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014. Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Taylor Swift, all of whom have been nominated for a chance to win an award, accompany her. Seems like the GRAMMYs have also brought Lorde and Taylor together as they have been seen hanging out  a lot lately.

17-year-old Lorde has hit the floor running as her song "Royals" took off like a rocket. We also hear a lot from the singer, who admits she is very opinionated and sometimes may "speak before she thinks." Lorde recently said that Taylor Swift was "a bad role model because she's to flawless" but later publically apologized to Taylor, saying she "spoke out of context" and that she "is a fan."

One statement she doesn't regret is what she said about Selena Gomez's "Come and Get it," criticizing the star for "portraying women in that way." So did Taylor forgive and forget Lorde for talking trash about her and her BFF Selena Gomez? Either that or Taylor is trying to get back at Selena for rekindling her friendship with Demi Lovato.

Maybe we are putting too much thought into this but it seems like Taylor Swift is one of those jealous friends. She can just be hanging out with Lorde just because she genuinely likes her, but a small part of her is getting back at Selena for hanging out with Taylor's frenemie Demi Lovato. Lorde and Taylor were spotted having dinner at the Hibachi Japanese Grill restaurant in Melbourne, Australia, and this isn't the first time these two GRAMMY nominees have been seen spending time together.

Isn't that breaking girl code if you befriend a girl who talks badly about your BFF? Taylor, you cannot really blame Selena for supporting Demi Lovato at the rehab center because they were friends way before your little problem with her over ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas. Yes, they fell out but a friendship that strong doesn't end. You know what? Maybe we're just crazy, it's cool to see new friendships arise in Hollywood, it takes us all closer to a more peaceful world... kinda.
