Justin Bieber Placed in Chokehold, Ordered to Leave 2015 Coachella [Watch]
Justin Bieber contacted ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, 22, in hopes she would join him at the Coachella music festival, but "The Come Get It" singer flatly declined Bieber's invitation.
It wasn't the first time Bieber had reached out to Gomez. He recently congratulated her on wrapping up production on the upcoming film "In Dubious Battle." The "Confident" singer didn't come unglued at Gomez's diss. He was spotted hanging out with both Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin at Coachella.
But that was not the end of Bieber's misfortune over the weekend. The pop star was reportedly placed in a chokehold by Coachella security before getting booted from the celebrity-riddled festival on Sunday, reports TMZ.
Bieber, 21, and his entourage tried entering through the artist's entrance during rapper Drake's performance when security stopped him because the area was full. He and his entourage showed their wristbands, which granted access, but guards still refused to let him in. Bieber argued with security, claiming Drake had personally invited him, and he'd be "bombarded" by fans if he stood in the general crowd, according to TMZ.
A Coachella staffer approached Bieber and said she would escort him inside the artist's area. She took him by the arm and began walking him inside when a security guard came up from behind and put Bieber in a chokehold.
Eyewitnesses told TMZ Bieber's security got into it with Coachella security. The singer was then ordered to leave the music festival.
Sources close to Bieber say he voluntarily left, and he is considering legal action against the Coachella security guards.
Whether he needed to escape the weekend drama or duty called, the "All Around the World" singer left the U.S. on his private jet. He posted an Instagram picture of himself on the jet early Tuesday morning with the caption, "I just landed in Europe, shopping bags I'm a tourist."
