Miley Cyrus Times Square New Year's Eve Performance: Schedule and Where to Watch
Ohhh you better watch out because Miley Cyrus is coming to town! Miley tweeted early this morning that she will be performing in Time Square for New Years Eve! The huge event where thousands of people (except New Yorkers) gather to watch the ball drop in representation of "out with the old and in with the new," will get to see Miley for the very last second of her best year 2013.
Ryan Seacrest confirmed that Miley will be joining his annual New Year's Rockin' Eve on Jimmy Kimmel last night. "Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Time Square for #RockinEve!! (emojii)" Cyrus tweeted. This was Miley's year so the night wouldn't be complete without her. Perez Hilton even dares Miley to swing on the New Year's Ball naked as she did in her "Wrecking Ball" video... Oh, Perez, you crack us up -- don't give her any ideas!
The "Adore You" singer is sure to welcome the New Year with lots of twerking. The songs that Miley will perform have not been revealed yet but it will be awesome to hear any of her hits from her Bangerz album. Wonder what she will be wearing since New York weather during New Years Eve is quite frightening. Other stars that have performed at the show in years before, like Jennifer Lopez, have pulled off cat suits. Hmm, don't know if you can wear those tiny hardly leotards in that weather, Miles, but good luck.
Will Time Square be even more packed up with people? What will Miley fans wear? It's so exciting to think about what Ms. Cyrus will bring to this huge New Years party. How will it be different? You better get your ticket ready now if you don't already live in New York City. If you do live nearby, you better get your water, snacks, blanket and portable chairs ready for a day starting at 5:00am for a nice spot! Do you see why New Yorkers rather watch the event on television nice and cozy at home? Don't miss Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy as they host New Year's Rockin' Eve live on ABC on Dec. 31st starting at 11:30 p.m.
